Social Media Strategist
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist to manage and enhance our client's social media initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing social media strategies, engaging with influencers, managing media relations, and monitoring social media metrics to optimize performance. This role requires a deep understanding of all social media channels, social media trends, technologies, laws, and best practices, along with expertise in SEO, web traffic metrics, social metrics for all platforms, and community management.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive social media plans to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and YouTube.

Refining and building internal programs.

Identify and engage with influencers to strengthen relationships and leverage influencer marketing effectively.

Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize future performance and ensure consistency with brand objectives.

Stay current with social media trends, emerging technologies, and legal aspects to ensure our strategies are innovative and compliant.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, content creators, and sales teams to ensure cohesive digital marketing efforts.

Organize and manage digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with the overall social media strategy.

Engage in and grow online communities through best-practice community management techniques.

Regularly liaise with clients and external teams through various communication channels to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a brand-consistent social voice to foster community engagement and loyalty.

Analyze competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Develop creative strategy & create visual content.

Some copywriting.

Curate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily across multiple platforms.

Requirements:

Proven experience in social media strategy and community management.

Expertise in managing multiple social media platforms, with skills in content planning, scheduling, and engagement.

Strong understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media monitoring tools.

Understanding of Influencer Marketing and strong negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Creative thinking with the ability to produce innovative and original ideas.

Demonstrated experience with managing projects and meeting deadlines
Qualifications:

Education: Working towards or have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree (Advertising, Art Direction, Design, Communication Arts, Public Relations, Marketing, or similar program)
OR

5+ years of Relevant Experience.
Work Location:

Hybrid. Work at the office 2-3 days of the week.

Client offices, or locations for meetings and/or filming (must have reliable transportation)
