Digital Content Creator Intern - Summer, 2024

Job Summary

Are you a creative at heart?  As a Content Creator intern, you'll have the freedom to unleash your creativity and work on a variety of projects for our diverse clients. You'll collaborate with our team on conception, design and layout, content creation, and production for both social/digital and traditional media. This is a paid internship where you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and build your skills in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities​

• Work with the team on various client and internal tasks, from concept to completion

• Design and create layouts for assigned projects

• Assist with editing, production, and post-production of existing client deliverables

• Shoot reels, edit reels, and film YouTube videos

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and ideate

• Attend and present during internal and external meetings

• Assist with photo and video shoots as needed

• Collaborate with other interns on a potential internal project

• Perform additional tasks as assigned​

Knowledge and Skillset Requirements:​

• Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Art Direction, Design, Communication Arts, Social Media, or a similar program

• Availability to work 10-15 hours per week

• Social media savvy:  TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Twitter

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

• Proficiency in Canva

• Proficiency in video editing

• Strong conceptualization and brainstorming skills

• A portfolio showcasing your creative work

• Attention to detail

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Self-motivation and proactive thinking capabilities

• Interest and eagerness to learn about new developments in design and advertising

• Willingness and ability to push creative boundaries

• An open mind and positive attitude

• Demonstrated experience with managing projects and meeting deadlines

Qualifications:​​

• Education: Working towards or have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree (Advertising, Art Direction, Design, Communication Arts, Public Relations, Marketing, or similar program)

• Work requirements: 10-20 hours per week (depending on internship requirements)

Work Location:

• Hybrid.  Work at the office certain days of the week.

• Client offices, or locations for filming (must have reliable transportation)

• Office is located at San Felasco Tech City in Alachua, FL.
